Private reps and ride-alongs
Get the right next rep, at the difficulty you're ready for, with donors, alumni, and colleagues who push back, go quiet, change the subject, and sometimes say no. Tivy rides along in the simulation, then debriefs with you on what worked and what to try next.
The debrief
1
What we noticed. What went well, and the moments that could go further.
2
Why it matters. How those moments land with the person you're talking to.
3
What to try next. One thing to carry into your next rep.

Need a conversation that isn't here? We build it for you.
Why it works
Every conversation unfolds differently, out loud, the way it will in real life.
Harder conversations open as readiness grows.
Built around the people you actually meet. Need a new scenario? We build it for you.
Use our competencies or add your own custom skills, and feedback follows them.
The debrief shows what went well and the moments that could go further.
People choose what to share with their manager.
Custom people
You don't want an avatar that is your donor. You want one that gets you ready for your donor. Tell us who you're meeting, your goal, and what makes them unique, like their interests, communication style, or past objections. We build a person from those traits, never from personal data.
For example:
✓ A donor who pushes back on overhead
✓ An enthusiastic supporter who wants to go deeper
✓ A corporate partner focused on ROI
✓ A foundation officer with set program priorities
✓ A first-time major donor
✓ A longtime supporter exploring a legacy gift
How it works
01
Choose the conversation and what you want from it: cultivation, stewardship, an ask, or a renewal.
02
Out loud, by voice, with Tivy riding along in the simulation.
03
Tivy talks through what worked and what to try next.
04
Try it a different way, as many times as you need, until it feels like you.
“Running through a mock donor meeting just hours before the actual one helped me work through strategies. The feedback from Tivy helped me adjust my approach on the spot.”

Behavior science
People improve through focused reps with feedback, not by watching experts (deliberate practice, Ericsson). Varied reps also build the flexibility to adapt when a real conversation goes off script.

Is this ethical?
Yes. We never copy or impersonate a real person. Each person you talk to is built from general traits, like “asks detailed questions about impact,” and no personal or identifying information is used.
How is a custom person different from a ready-made scenario?
Ready-made scenarios build skills for common conversations. A custom person gets you ready for one real meeting, built around that donor's traits and your goal.
Will my manager see my reps?
No. Reps are private by default, and you choose what to share. Leaders see team trends, never transcripts.
What if the real conversation goes differently?
It probably will. Varied reps build the flexibility to adapt when a conversation goes off script, so you're ready for the turn you didn't plan.
Does Tivy join my real meetings?
No. Tivy rides along only in simulated conversations. The real conversation is yours.
How long does it take to set up a custom person?
A few minutes. Answer a few questions about the person and the meeting, and they're ready for your first rep.
