Launchpad
Launchpad is a 30-day onboarding program that simulates every stage of a donor relationship, built on your materials. New hires get fluent in your institution and get reps on the conversations they'll actually have, while you see readiness phase by phase. It's not only for new fundraisers: experienced hires learning to fundraise in your context need it too.
The problem
Most onboarding is a stack of PDFs and a 12 to 18 month wait to see if it sticks. When someone leaves, you can't tell if it was fit or a lack of support. Launchpad gives new hires real reps from week one and gives you a clear view of where they are.
The program
1
Your mission, campaign, and case for support, turned into short visual lessons with voiceover. Then new hires build their pitch with Tivy and try it on someone who's never heard of you, and someone more skeptical.
2
Outreach emails, cold calls, the follow-up when nobody calls back, a thank-you call to a lapsed donor, and discovery visits with no ask in sight.
3
Connecting what a donor cares about to your priorities and writing a months-long cultivation plan, with Tivy's feedback before moving on.
4
Preparing the proposal, making the ask, and staying with the silence after.
5
The conversations that turn a gift into a relationship.
How every phase works
A short lesson and a quick check, built from your materials. A check for understanding, not a test.
Coaching with Tivy, simulated donor conversations, and real writing: emails, proposals, plans.
Tivy talks through what worked and what to try next.
Each conversation builds on the last, so new hires carry relationships forward the way they will in real life.

“We’re onboarding several new employees, and it’s fantastic knowing they’ll continue to train effectively even when I’m not physically present. Having Practivated as a practice tool has been tremendous for the team.”
Chris Huff AVP of Annual Giving, University of Central Florida
Behavior science
Pulling information back up again and again is what makes it available under pressure (retrieval practice). Launchpad spaces those reps across 30 days instead of packing them into an orientation week.

Is it only for new fundraisers?
No. It's for anyone new to your institution or a new role: an experienced hire, a promotion, a move into major gifts, or a new portfolio.
Do we have to use your content?
No. The first phase is built from your documents, and your campaign can be woven in throughout. You can also swap in your own discovery and qualification process.
What does the manager see?
Progress while it's happening, then where each person did well and where to grow next. Never transcripts or grades.
What happens at the end?
Each person has a closing conversation with Tivy about how it went and what they still want to learn, and their manager gets a clear picture of where to support them next.
Can it continue after 30 days?
Yes. Launchpad flows into programs and everyday coaching with Tivy.
